Joseph John Toth, 49, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
Joe was born on August 15, 1968 in Berea, Ohio to Marcia & Edward Toth. He grew up in Strongsville, Ohio until the family moved to Sharon Center, Ohio in 1977. He later graduated from Highland High School in 1986.
Anyone that had the privilege of knowing Joe knew that he was a generous, fun loving man that would do anything for anyone. When you look back at Joe’s life you realize that he was always taking care of everyone around him, whether you realized it or not. He was naturally that caring. He was funny and had a magnetic personality that drew in everyone around him. You couldn’t help but love him.
He was very active and was always up for an adventure. When he was younger he was into body building, hunting, golf, skiing and countless other activities. He later found a love for fixing things. If it involved power tools Joe loved it! He was always helping his family and friends with projects, especially his neighbors Adrian and Amy. He loved working in the barn with his niece Taylor and her horses, hunting and shooting with his nephew Josh and spending time with his great-nephew Colten. His boyfriend Jason, who brought him much happiness, was always by his side.
Joe seemed to find a talent for anything he tried thanks to his determination, persistence and discipline. He never did anything half way. He was also pretty stubborn but we loved him for it!
Joe was preceded in death by his brothers Matthew and Edward. He is survived by his parents, Marcia and Edward; boyfriend Jason; brothers Stephen (Virginia), Russell, and Nicholas; nieces Alexandra, Stephanie, Taylor, Samantha and Ava; nephew Joshua (Alyssa); great-nephew Colten; good friend Ron and countless cousins that loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8pm Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St., Wadsworth with Fr. Patrick Spicer Celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wadsworth Salvation Army, 527 College St., Wadsworth, OH 44281.
