Kenneth W. True passed away on Wednesday 26, 2017. Kenny was born in Akron Ohio on March 21, 1938. He lived his early years in Louisville, Ky, moved back to Copley where he graduated in 1956. He served in the U.S. Army as a cook from 1956 to 1959. He was employed by Western and Southern Life and retired after 37 years. He was proud of his many awards and accomplishments, two being the Million Dollar Club and Marshall of the Legion, few many receive.
He is preceded in death by parents Carl and Gladys. Brothers Donald, Richard and sister Virginia. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Sandy (Gasser), daughters Lori, Cris (Al) Emerson, Jeanne (Troy) Perry, Kristi (Duane) Lockhart. Sons, Michael, Mark (Christinia) True. 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Sister-in-laws Yvonne and Carol True. Many nieces and nephews, dear family-friends Gary, Susan, Steven, Jennifer, Haley and Zach Gruccio. Life long friend John Conover.
He loved traveling, golf, bowling, fishing, cards and board games. He even went horseback riding and parasailing recently. Watching his grandchildren play sports brought him great joy. He tried to live life to its fullest.
A member of Trinity United Church of Christ, the Eagles, and the Moose. He will be remembered as a hardworking, fun-loving man with a smile for everyone.
