Frederic D. Goshia, 77, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his home in Wadsworth, OH. following a long battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Barbara (Hamilton) Goshia; his daughter, Debra Kopfer and her husband Mike; his son, Gregory and his wife Terry; his granddaughter Jennifer Fuchs and her husband Josh; his grandsons Steven and his wife Stephanie; Christopher, Brian and great granddaughter Allison. He was preceded in death by his father Herman, mother Madolyn and brother Robert. Fred resided in Wadsworth since 1974. He was a graduate of The Defiance College and employed by the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company for 34 years in various financial positions in Domestic and International, retiring in 1992 as Manager of International Credit. He was an Honorary Life Member of the Elks Lodge and a member of the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, watching football, and spending time with the family. Friends will be received 2-4 P.M. Sunday, July 29 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where a funeral service will be held Monday, July 30 at 10:30 A.M.
