Kristen R. Stanton-Hoover, 44, formerly of Huntsburg, Ohio and more recently Wadsworth, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 with her daughter by her side. She was born on September 29, 1976 in Chardon, Ohio.
Kristen was a lover of animals, enjoyed fishing, reading, and found comfort in music. She often adopted dogs, huskies being her favorite. The dogs she rescued and loved were Chance, Reese, Serenity, Taylor, Daffy, Dixon, and Cirrus. She attended culinary arts school at the University of Akron. She loved to bake and for a while was a cake decorator. She found the most joy in being a homemaker and caring for her children. Raising them meant everything to her. Despite all the challenges she faced in life, they were all met with a positive attitude and she often lived by the motto, Hakuna Matata.
Kristen is proceeded in death by her grandmother, Mary Lane. She is survived by her Husband, Anthony Hoover; daughter, Erika Kovach (William Myers); son, Christian Stanton; stepsons, Jacob and Macon Hoover; parents, Russell Stanton (Bonnie Baldwin) and Sharon (Donald) Hall, as well as her sister, Anastasia Hall.
Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N.
