Richard B. Dean, 72, of Wadsworth passed away April 10, 2015. Born December 29, 1942 in Wadsworth Ohio to the late Richard and Mary Dean.

Richard proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked as a Welder for B & W in the Nuclear Operations Group, he also worked many years for the Wadsworth City Schools as a Custodian and as a Crossing Guard at the RR tracks on Main Street. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting or just being outdoors. He enjoying riding motorcycles and working on them as well. He took great pride in carving wooded canes.

Survived by his wife Connie Dean, sons Shane Dean, Eric Dean (Emily Canning-Dean) and Ryan Dean (Jennifer), grandchildren Maryann and Nicholas Dean, brother Lee Dean and sister in law Jeanne.

A memorial Service will be conducted Friday, April 17, 2014 at 10:30am at Ridgewood Baptist Church, 7891 Ridge Road, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Pastor Dave Marrandette will be officiating.

Inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
