Jay Barbara Bach, 78, of Wadsworth, passed away Tuesday May 8, 2012. She was born on January 27, 1934 in Bridgeport, OH to the late Joseph and Glenna Smith.
Mrs. Bach was a member of Prince of Peace and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches and was retired from GTE/Verizon Telephone Companies.
She loved her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed laughing and celebrating life.
Jay is survived by her husband William with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage, sons: Frank (Lisa) Bach, Peter Bach, Ted Bach and daughter Julie Bach. There are eight grandchildren: William, Karl, Stephanie, Peter, Alex, Robert, Theo, Jonathan. She is also survived by her beloved brother Terry Smith.
The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Dr., Barberton with Fr. Robert Jackson Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity or Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
