Paul G. Balind, 93, of Wadsworth passed away Sunday November 15, 2009. Born March 26, 1916 in Akron to the late Joseph and Julia Balind.
Mr. Balind was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of Bethany Friends Church, American Legion Post #171, CBI (China Burma India), and a member of WRH Auxiliary, where he made many bears.
He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine (Gerry) Balind and great grandson Joshua Finegan.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Joyce and Jack Foreman of Caldwell and Linda and John Lashinske of Doylestown, 1 granddaughter Michelle (Steve) Finegan of Rittman, and 3 great grandchildren Corey, Tyler, and Makayla Finegan.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday.
