Eleverna Fay Beach (nee Kramer)

Elverna F. Beach, 99, passed away on May 5, 2015 at 16:47 of natural causes.

She was born in Tallmadge on September 2, 1915, and graduated from high school in 1933. She moved to Barberton on June 6, 1936, after marrying Charles Thomas Beach. She also lived in Wadsworth and Norton. She was a long-time member and a tireless volunteer at the First Presbyterian Church of Barberton. She was a member of the Barberton Woman’s Club and the Barberton Hospital Auxiliary. She made an honorary board member at the Summa Wadsworth Hospital because of her 50 years of volunteer service for the Auxiliary. She worked for many years at various voting precincts as a worker and then as a presiding judge. She was an excellent homemaker, seamstress, cook, crafts maker, and gardener. She also was an avid bridge player.

She is preceded in death by husband Charles in 1976; parents, Karl Kenneth Sr. and Myrtie Margaret (Cauffield) Kramer; brothers, Karl Kramer Jr., Walter Kramer, and Gene Kramer; sisters, Mary (Kramer) Born, Lucille (Kramer) Sekulich, Dorothy (Kramer) Neumeyer, and Betty (Kramer) Griffin and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

She is survived by daughters, Joan Pauline of Norton and Jill Elaine of Decatur, Georgia; sister, Carrie (Kramer) Zinn of Kokomo, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Janet Kramer of Litchfield and Alice Kramer of Akron. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Summa Pallative Care and Home Instead for their care of our mother during her last days.

The family will receive friends on May 11, at Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St, Wadsworth from 5 to 7 pm, funeral services will be conducted May 12, at 1:00 pm.
