Chad Stephen Becker, 42, of Spencer passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, December 3, 2017. He was born September 3, 1975 in Elyria. He was a graduate of Keystone High School, attended Lorain Community College and was employed by General Motors Co.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, target shooting and tending to his hobby farm.

Chad’s favorite thing in the world was enjoying nature with his daughter Aliyah, teaching her to fish, catch frogs and feed her chickens.

He had a hilarious sense of humor and a great gift of gab and the ability to tell stories.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother “Granine” and Uncle Ron.

Chad is survived by his wife Eliza, his daughter, and the love of his life Aliyah, his mother Nancy Becker of Daytona Beach, FL, father Butch Becker of Elyria, sister and brother-in-law DeAnna and Scott Markel of Homerville, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his best friends Andre and Brian.

The family will receive friends 12:30pm Saturday, December 16 at the Lagrange Church of God, 502 N. Center St., Lagrange, OH 44050, followed by a 1pm prayer service. A reception will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made at the service to Aliyah Becker.
