Ruth E. Beckley, 92, of Wadsworth passed away Sept. 19, 2016. Ruth was born Nov. 6, 1923 in Friedens, PA to the late Howard and Olive (nee Mostoller) Long.

Ruth was a past Matron of the Wadsworth OES Chapter #102. She also volunteered for the Red Cross and retired from Huntington Bank after 28 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Beckley, sister Eleanor Newcomer and brother Harold Long.

She is survived by her children Harold (Joyce) Beckley and Marjorie (Tony) Laterza; brother Dr. Barry (Karen) Long; grandchildren Christie Swain, Timothy Swain, Michael Swain, and Melissa Meiggs; and great-grandchildren Alex Hindes, Ethan Meiggs, and Jakob Swain.

Family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 from 11-12 noon, at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio. Where services will be conducted at 12 noon with Rev. Daniel Doty officiating. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
