Robert “Bob” Beheydt, 90, of Wadsworth passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012. He was born on February 23, 1922 in Wadsworth to the late Henry and Evelyn Beheydt. Mr. Beheydt attended Wadsworth City Schools and was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was the owner and operator of Beheydt Auto Wrecking for over 30 years. Bob enjoyed riding his Honda Gold Wing having traveled to the West Coast on 2 occasions and also enjoyed wintering in Florida for 29 years. Bob’s favorite thing to do throughout his life was to work hard! He was preceded in death by three sisters; Pauline Jerpbak, Anna Foltz and June Beheydt. He is survived by his wife Gloria “Jean” (nee Von Rodenberg), Sons: Max Beheydt of Doylestown and James Beheydt of Wadsworth. Daughter & son-in-law Marie (Tom) Swiger of Ft. Recovery. There are 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also surviving: step children Jeffrey Cleckner, Christine (Steve) Demlow and James Cleckner, 7 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, where a funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., with Pastor Eric Bates officiating. Burial will be follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
