Ben, 31, of Seville, passed away on October 6, 2017. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Joan Nida and sister, Megan (Dustin) Shammo and their children Riley, Nolan, and Sadie. He also leaves girlfriend, Lori Hudson, and grandmothers, Jeanne Carter and Janet Nida. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Carter and Jack Nida.

Ben was a 2004 graduate of Cloverleaf High School and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from St. Bonaventure University in 2009, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was a goal keeper in soccer at both schools. He enjoyed mountain biking, soccer, studying history, and reading classic literature. He also enjoyed working with his hands, spending many Saturdays volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Ben was an extraordinary individual, profoundly deep and witty. He was a special person to all who knew and loved him.

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 12 from 6-8pm at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Friday at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Seville.
