Bessie J. Gish, 94, died September 24, 2013. She was born January 1, 1919 in Wadsworth to the late Charles and Grace Leatherman.

A longtime member of First Christian Church-Wadsworth, Bessie enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her husband Paul; sisters Laura, Hazel and Cleo and brothers Nelson, Leland and Warren, she is survived by her daughter Sherry Gish; son Bob (Sally); grandchildren Randy and Tim (Carrie) and great-grandchildren Nick, Danielle, Owen and Kole.

Rev. James Singleton will conduct a memorial service Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11 AM at First Christian Church, 116 E. Boyer Street in Wadsworth. Private burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
