Betty J. Bird, 88, of Wadsworth passed away Feb. 3, 2016. Betty was born in Burbank, Ohio on March 18, 1927 to the late Ingle L. and Nellie M. Swartz.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Jr. with whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage, her sisters Marvel Swartz, Pauline Elliston, Evelyn Keener, and brothers Andrew and Dean Swartz.

Betty is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Jim Blair of Seville, Peggy and Frank LoPresty of Wadsworth, and grandson Todd and Marci Blair and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 10-11 am Saturday Feb. 6, 2016 at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 am. Interment immediately following the service in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth.
