Obituary
Virginia “Sue” Blubaugh, 82, of Wadsworth, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011. She was born on January 7, 1929 in Wadsworth to the late Carlyle and Lucille (nee Lucas) Rood.
She attended St. Andrew Catholic Church in Norton. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo, playing the lottery, gambling and jigsaw puzzles. She was extremely proud to have recently completed a 6000 piece puzzle of Noah’s Ark, a project that took her almost three years to complete.
Mrs. Blubaugh was preceded in death by two sons; C. Eugene and Dennis Blubaugh, and her great grandson Mason her brother Robert Rood, sister Phyllis Radtke and step father Robert Adling.
Sue is survived by her daughters; Denise (Ron Bayduke) Perry, Theresa (Ron Book) Blubaugh, Cindy (Tim) Hickman, Brenda (Dave) Lego, sons Duane (Melanie) Blubaugh, Roger (Pam) Blubaugh and daughter in law Donna Blubaugh all of Wadsworth. There are 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and her long time friend and companion Lige Whystell also surviving.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am with Fr. Thomas Maloney officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
