Boling
Wadsworth, OH

Louise M. Boling, 95, an extraordinary woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away August 13, 2011. Her warmth and charm made everyone who came through her door feel welcome and at home.
Louise was born in Rittman, Ohio on March 11, 1916 to the late Joseph and Lea Pape. She graduated from Rittman High School in 1934. Her strong work ethic was evidenced in the many jobs she held from a young age including working and managing various A & P stores and being a realtor for over 40 years with Allen & Hartzell, Inc. She brought her spirit of hospitality to the realty profession she enjoyed so much; helping to create homes by bringing people and houses together. Louise’s other love was her family and home. Any event was made more special, gathering around the dining room table. She was at the center of our family, with the gift of bringing us all together. She was always interested in each child and grandchild, making them feel loved and special. She loved being called Mama. You could often see her working in the yard. Her yard and flower beds were just as beautiful as her home. Louise loved being a member of Sacred Heart Parish and had been a member for over 70 years.
Louise was preceded in death by her in-laws, Harley and Clara Boling; her siblings, Alice (Louis) Ulrich, Albert (Marilyn) Pape, Marguerite (George) Schlayer and sister-in-law Dorothy Pape. She will be truly missed by her husband of 71 years, Dale, and her children Denny (Patti) Boling of Cincinnati, Jan (Lowell) Knight of Wadsworth, and Beth (Mike) Scott of Akron. Her grandchildren include Aaron (Jessie) Boling of Canal Fulton, Eric and Sarah Knight of Wadsworth, and Ethan, Rachel and Olivia Scott of Akron; brother, Joe Pape of Wadsworth; nieces, friends, and neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 5-8PM on Friday, August 19 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth with a rosary service at 7:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 9:30AM Saturday, August 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 260 Broad St., Wadsworth, with Father Michael Ausperk officiating. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
