Together Again

Patricia Book, 80, of Wadsworth, passed away Thursday, November 3. She was born on August 29, 1942 in Wadsworth to the late John L. and Helena (nee Long) Francis. Mrs. Book was retired from Hometown Market after working there for 42 years and was affectionately known as the “Chicken Lady.”

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 62 years, James; her son, Ron “Bubby” Book; grandson, Jacob; brother, Ronnie Francis, and sister, Phyllis Evans.

Patricia is survived by her children, Laura (Jeff) Adkins, Patty (John), Barb (Ron) Campbell and Jarrod (Michelle) Book. She is also survived by grandchildren Shannon (Chad) White, Jamie (James) Halstead, Meagan Greathouse, Angi (Brian) Seni, Jarrod (Hannah), Caleb, Devlin, Jaxon and Tegan Book, Tia Harpley and Codi Pell. Great-grandchildren Jaden, Grayson, Landrie, Colson, Hadley and CJ; and great-great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Brantley. Sister, Barb Meade, and several step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm Monday, November 7 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St, Wadsworth. Funeral service will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, November 8 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
