Roy W. Boyer, 58, of Wadsworth passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 23, 2022. He was born December 21, 1963 in Medina to the late Robert and Faye Boyer.

Roy was a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1982, and attended Northside Christian Church. He was the owner and operator of Wadsworth Towing for 24 years. Roy loved being with his family, woodworking, metal working, working on cars, 4-Wheeling, collecting Hot Wheels and gardening. He was known for helping anyone he could, and was a great resource to the entire Wadsworth community. Roy also loved anything M.A.S.H., the Three Stooges and practical jokes. He never met a stranger and was greatly appreciated by all of the area safety forces. With all he did, he never wanted to take credit for doing and helping, and never liked asking for help. Roy enjoyed volunteering at Key Church, especially with the “Touch-A-Truck” program. One of his favorite activities was delivering doughnuts to his business associates at Christmas time.

Preceded in death by his uncle, David Bucklew, Roy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Candice (Chris) Sombati; son and daughter-in-law, Corey (Hannah) Boyer; grandchildren, Tristan, Raenah, Colton, Sariah and Cassidy; and his former wife, Linda Boyer; twin sister, Robin (Bert) Hinkle; and his dogs, Buss and Erin. Lyman St. in Wadsworth, where Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30th. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
