Margaret Brooks, 89, went home to be with her lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 1, 2016. Marge was born on October 24, 1927 in Wadsworth, Ohio, to the late Edgar and Anna Means.

Marge graduated from the 1945 class of Wadsworth High School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 25 years. She retired from ATT in 1988.

She loved to water ski and play golf when she was young. Marge volunteered at the Giving Doll since the beginning of the organization, and she loved every minute of the time she spent making the dolls. She enjoyed watching the Cavs and Buckeyes.

Preceded in death by husband Hugh Brooks, children Gary Gene and Karen Renee’ and sisters Betty Deal and Mable Martin and brother Millard Means.

Survived by daughter Jody (Richard) Aurand and granddaughters Michelle (Andrew) Twiggs and Mandy Stalnaker, and sister Lois Sheaffer and 4 great grandsons. There are many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 4-7pm Wednesday December 7, 2016 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, OH, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11am will Pastor Jerry Burton officiating. Interment with take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
