Geraldine “Geri” Ann Brotherton, 74, of Medina, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was born December 28, 1940 in Cleveland to the late Kallman and Helen Papay. Mrs. Brotherton was a member of Medina Community Church, grew up in Chippewa Lake, was a graduate of Westfield High School and was retired from Schneider Trucking. Geri enjoyed growing orchids when she lived in Florida, sewing, baking and most of all loved being a grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister Bernadine in 2004.

Geri is survived by her husband Tom whom she met at the age of 12 and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage. There are her daughters Dawn (John) Feagan of Wadsworth, Kimberly Ennis of Medina, her grandson J.T. Feagan, siblings Helen (Donald) Kruty of Ashland, OH, Bernard Papay of Canton, MI and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 11am Tuesday.

Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
