Paul Burnley, 71, of Wadsworth, passed away Tuesday May 17, 2011. He was born on March 15, 1940 in Akron, OH to the late Paul E. and Lillian Burnley. Mr. Burnley served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserves and was a member of Fairlawn Lutheran Church where he created brail Bibles, was active with the Thursday Morning Bible Study and had served as the head Usher for many years. He was retired from Allside Aluminum, was a member of the Antique Outboard Motor Club and was an avid fisherman.
Paul is survived by two sisters and brothers in law; Patricia (Ronald) Nemeth of Barberton and Cynthia (Daniel) Chamberland of Clarence Ctr., NY. There are his nephews and nieces; Timothy and Michael Nemeth, Daniel, Lauren and Meredith Chamberland, three great nieces and nephews; Kalee, Taylor and Jacob Nemeth and his good friends Cliff and Bob also surviving.
The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Friday at Fairlawn Lutheran Church, 3415 W. Market St., Fairlawn, OH 44333 with Rev. Thomas A. Zucconi officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
