Donald C. Calaway, 75, of Wadsworth Twp. passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009.

Born December 9, 1933 in Akron, OH to the late Lonnie and Ethel Calaway. Mr. Calaway was a U.S. Navy veteran, was retired from Allside Aluminum after 31 years of service, and loved going to the Music Barn on Friday evenings in Sharon Center. He was generous with his time, helping others, and always fixing up cars for others.

Preceded in death by his brother Delmar Calaway. Don is survived by his wife Theresa, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage, sons and daughters-in-law; Chris and Becky of Green, Cliff and Laura of Wadsworth, Bruce and Silvia of Richmond, TX, and Brian and Rachael of Wakeman, his grandchildren; Bethany (Anthony) Hahn, Adam, Cassidy, and Jessica Forman, Ashley (Neal) Casper, Matthew Foreman, Austin, Brianne, Alijah, Kaleb, Lucas, and Hannah Calaway, his great grandchild Addyson Casper, and his sister Jean Hanlon.

Committal service with military honors will be conducted 10:30 AM Friday, June 19, 2009 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Please meet at the information center at 10:15 AM Friday. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday afternoon at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where memorial services will be conducted 7:00 PM with Pastor Lee Stull officiating.
