Obituary
Terry Campbell died January 2, 2010, four days after his 57th birthday. He goes to join his son Joseph and parents Art and Isabelle. He lived his life in Wadsworth, graduating from Wadsworth High School’s Automotive class and marrying his High School Sweetheart. Continuing in the automotive field, he was employed by Kinney’s Automotive for 5 years. He then began a 30 year career with the City of Wadsworth repairing everything from lawn mowers to diesel trucks. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. Shortly after retiring, Terry was diagnosed with brain cancer. He fought a difficult battle with courage and dignity and was an inspiration to us all. He was proud to have opened his own auto repair shop. His honesty and strong ethics were much appreciated by his many loyal customers.
For fun he enjoyed fishing and boating. His greatest joy was time spent with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 38 years, Pat; daughter Melissa, daughter in law Marcy, sisters Sherri (Tom) Gwaltney and Karen (Ed) King, grandchildren Katie, Grace, Austin, Rebecca and Alexandria, his mother in law Waneta Trease, numerous brothers in law and sisters in law and his best friend Chuck Ott. Many thanks to the Outpatient staff of WRH; especially Brenda and Dr. Patel and thanks to the incredible care given by the staff at Akron City Hospital Hospice Unit.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday with Deacon Roger Klaas officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Garden.
