Wadsworth
Carol Chirdon, 78, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, of Wadsworth, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Friday, September 8, 2017. She was born to James Squires and Anna Severance on February 13, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
December 17, 1981, Carol married her best friend, Terry Chirdon. They were happily married for 36 years. They resided in Wadsworth with their ornery cat, Emma, and their spoiled, beloved dog, Gracie.
Carol worked for Goodyear for 32 years.
Carol had a real passion for gardening and for all animals. She especially loved to be surrounded by her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carol was very proud of her family and had a way of making everyone feel important and special.
She is survived by her loving husband, Terry; sisters, Dorothy (Foster) Ison, Gladys (Dennis) Ward; children, Ralph (Barbara) Call, Kenneth (Mona) Chirdon, and Todd Chirdon; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, as well as many other friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Severance; father, James Squires; brother-in-law, Foster Ison.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 4:00pm with a service honoring Carol immediately after at 5:00pm at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St, Wadsworth, Oh 44281.
