Edward W. Chrzanowski, Jr.

The Lord has wrapped His loving and gracious arms around Edward W. Chrzanowski, Jr. on April 23, 2021. He is now resting in peace with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward W. Chrzanowski, Sr. and Emma K. Chrzanowski (Vargo) and his sister Marjorie Ramsey.
Ed is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth Chrzanowski (Roesel), brother Kenneth (Shirley) Chrzanowski, daughter Jill Duncan, son Andrew (Brandi) Chrzanowski and grandsons Matthew Woodburn, Joseph Woodburn and Mason Duncan. Sister-in-law Brenda Roesel, Brother-in-law, Michael (Colleen) Roesel, nephews Perry Ramsey, Charles (Stephanie)Ramsey; nieces, Melissa Konic, Christine (Jim) Moy, Kim (Alan) Byers and numerous great nephews and great nieces.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High St., Wadsworth on Wednesday at 1:00, interment at Western Reserve National Cemetary followed by a luncheon at Grace Lutheran Church at 3:00.
He was a US Army veteran who served in Vietnam, earning an Honorable Discharge. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Akron. He worked several jobs at B.F. Goodrich for over 19 years including tire building and working in the tire testing division. He retired from the Ohio Department of Taxation as an accountant. He enjoyed golfing and spent many years in a traveling golf league. He loved cruising the Caribbean with his family and spending time at the cabin of the Pennsylvania and Ohio Rod and Hunting Club in Pennsylvania.
Ed is known for his stubbornness, sense of humor and love of family. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. His wish would be to have you hug your child, encourage them as they grow and to find a compliment in their behavior on a daily basis, be a good and supportive Dad and read to your children. Family is a pleasure and a gift from God.
Facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in force.
In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be given to Grace Lutheran Church Restoration Project, 146 High St, Wadsworth or donations be given to Wadsworth FISH Organization (see web site).
