Mary M. Ciofani (nee Hudak) 68, of Wadsworth, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, November 27, 2022. She was born July 12, 1954 in Akron, Ohio to the late George and Loretta Hudak.

Mary greatly enjoyed shopping, Sudoku, games, penny slots and baking sweets, especially Christmas cookies. She was also an avid traveler, visiting all 50 states. She taught PSR at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 29 years and played guitar at 3 different parishes in the church choir for over 35 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Sebastian Champion.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene; children, Denise Champion and Gregory and Daniel Ciofani; siblings, Loretta Hamilton, George, Sheila Joyner, Michael, Kathy Rider, and Dorothy and grandchilden Caleb and Miles Champion.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, December 4 at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N Lyman St, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 5 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 260 Broad St, Wadsworth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary’s name can be made to Hospice of Western Reserve.
