Obituary
Major Clark, 90, of Wadsworth passed away March 10, 2011. He was born on August 26, 1920 in Davis Creek, WV to the late Albert and Sybil (Ellis) Clark . Major was a devoted husband for nearly 70 years. On September 20, 2011 he and his loving wife, Vera would have celebrated 70 years together. He was a WWII Army veteran and enjoyed hunting and camping. He retired from General Clay Products in 1972.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Gladys Cooper and Lillian Burton, brother Alva James Clark, sons-in-law Ron Reich and Gary Gardner, and great grandchild Flint Ridge.
Major is survived by his sons Larry Clark, Major D. (Kyra) Clark, Shelby (Juanita) Clark, Keith Clark, and Timothy (Heidi) Clark. Daughters Alice Reich, Bonita Gardner. Grandchildren, Denise (Kenny) Majka, Brian (Amy) Reich, Major Lee (Tina) Clark, Christopher (Mandy) Clark, Melanie (Dan ) Franks, Gary S. (Joy) Gardner, Jason (Kim) Clark, Debbie (Jon) Duke, Holly (Steve) Few, Kriszandra Clark, and Samantha Clark. Great grandchildren Ariel, Major Beau, Bryce, Allyson, Madisyn, Kentyn, Nathan, Peyton, Jucinda, Kora Lilly, Madilyn and Avery. Brother R. L. (Jo) Clark; Sister Nellie Workman; Other family member Sherry Clark .
The family will recieve friends 5-7 PM Monday and 5-7 PM Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday with Rev. Daniel Doty officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
