David Eugene Cobb, 70, of Wadsworth passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022. He was born January 27, 1952, in Akron, OH to the late William and Jacqueline Cobb.
Mr. Cobb is a proud U.S. Marine having served in Vietnam and then served the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a very skilled laborer and retired from Midwest Rubber and Carlisle Break and Friction. He was an avid Son of the American Legion for 61 years and active member of American Legion – Garfield Memorial Post #566 for 52 years. He enjoyed volunteering with Special Olympics and Buckeye Boy state.
Preceding him in death were his brother Billy Cobb and sister Debbie Morgan.
Dave is survived by his wife Pebble with whom he celebrated 35 years of marriage, his children David E. (Dawn) Cobb Jr., Rhonda (Vinson) Robinson, Jackie (Tim) Moore and Sabrina (Darrell) Stewart. 13 grandchildren: Kayla (Nick) Cobb, David E. “Bubba” Cobb III, Victoria (Brendon) DeLuca, Jessica Cobb, Olivia Moore, Eileen Robinson, Connor Cobb, Timmy Moore, Hunnor Moore, McKenna Cobb, Ridley Stewart, Decklyn Stewart and Kinsley Stewart. He was blessed with his great grandchildren Rhett Maroun, Reese Maroun, and Baby DeLuca. His siblings: Sandy (Terry) Wilson, Pam Brightwell, Kyra Kobilis, James Cobb and Many Nieces, Nephews, and adopted family.
The family will receive friends 2-5pm Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Monday. Interment will follow with Military Honors in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
