Janet B. (Jan) Cooper, age 81, passed from this life of Friday evening, February 5th. she was born May 3, 1934 in Belington, WV to the late Willie E. and Dora Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Evangelist Donald R. Cooper, to whom she was married, March 7, 1954. She was a member of the Lincoln Avenue Church of Christ in Bucyrus where husband is the Minister. They have three daughters, Sandra Haltom (Michael) of Henderson, TN; Penny Helton (Biff) of Lawrenceburg, TN; Michele Pitsenbarger of Moyer,WV; a son Michael of Harrisonburg, VA and a foster son, Robert Scott (Debbie) of Ashland, OH. Also surviving are five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by infant brother Harold, Fred C. Jones and sister Imogene Burner.

Friends will be received Monday evening at the West Good Avenue Church if Christ, 236 West Good Avenue in Wadsworth, OH from 6 to 9 P.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. with Evangelists Charles Pugh, III, David Kenny and Bob Eddy with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Evergreen North Cemetery in Parkersburg, WV.
