Obituary
Alice Jane Courtright (Brown), 80, beloved wife of Marvin M. Courtright, passed away peacefully on February 19th. Born in Parlett, Ohio on February 20th, 1932, Alice was the mother of four sons, Stephen, Michael (Cindy), Harry (CC), and Brian (Wendy). Happily married for sixty years, she was an active member of New Alexandria United Methodist Church and was known for her beauty, wit, truth-telling, Christmas candies, and eternal grace.
Alice was much loved by her eight grandchildren, Nicholas (Michelle), Stephen (JoElle), Joshua, Elissa, Evan, Daniel, Zachary, and Marina, and three great-grandchildren, Seren, William, and Porter. Preceding her in death are her parents, Edna (Evans) and Harry H. Brown, three brothers Harry, Ken, and George, and her son Stephen.
Alice was a good friend, a fantastic mother and grandmother, a loving wife, a thoughtful and strong person, and she will be greatly missed. A celebration of Alice’s life will take place later this year in New Alexandria, Ohio.
