Obituary
River Omega Cox passed away suddenly in her sleep on January 26, 2017. Born on September 22, 2016, she came to us on a whirlwind Thursday in the beginning light of fall. She was the smaller of the two twins at 4 lbs, but quickly made it known she was second to no one. River was a fighter – tough and strong. She was always on the tail of her twin brother Ranger when it came to milestones – learning to smile, and coo, rollover and giggle within a day of her brother. She was bright eyed and had an infectious smile that would light up the room. She was beautiful and smart and already in her short 4 months had a love and curiosity for life. She truly enjoyed her stroller walks in nature and her kick n’ play piano, but was best at snuggling with her mama and pop.
As quickly as she came to us, she was gone and will be immensely missed and eternally loved by her parents David III and Sarah (Strong), twin brother Ranger, big brother David IV and big sister Lia, Grandma and Grandpa G (Lesa and George Strong), Grandma and Grandpa Cox (Dave and Rosemary), aunts and uncles: Aaron (Courtni) Strong, Tiffany (John) Klein, Cara (Phil) Cox, Cindi (Steve) McCloskey, Steve Mills, and cousins Ariana, Minuet, Ella, Landon, Lilah, Phil Jr., and Harper. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting this precious baby girl will always have a place for her in their heart. She was no doubt met with open arms by her Great Grandma Sally and Aunt Christi, who went before her. She will always be remembered.
Funeral service will be conducted 7pm Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. the family will receive friends 2 hours prior to services from 5-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in River’s name to the Western Reserve Land Conservancy, 3850 Chagrin River Rd., Moreland Hills, OH 44022.
