Gerald Lee Cull, 80, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
He was born in Akron in 1933 and was a current resident of Chagrin Falls. He graduated from Kenmore High School then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. Nothing in his life was more important to him than his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lucy Cull, brothers Charles Cull and William Cull, Sisters Maryann Cull (infant), Barbara Akers and Josephine Worrells, and is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn Cull; son Michael (Michele) Cull; daughters Debbie (Allan) Stein, Cathy (Dave) Frantz; Kelley (Kevin) Conway; grandchildren Stephanie, Natalie, and Jeremy Cull, Carrie and Joseph Murray, Kenzie O’Connor, Audrey and Nathaniel Conway; great-grandchildren DJ and Jacob Robison; sisters Marie Worrells and Shirley Cotton, and childhood best friend, Thurman (Shorty) Shanholtz.
Private services for the family will be held this week at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
