Joann A. Culler, age 77, passed away June 10, 2022. She was born in Mansfield on May 1, 1945, the daughter of the late Donald Ohio Culler and Elnora Irene (Young) Culler.

Joann enjoyed spending time with loved ones. She was a friend to all with the heart of an angel. Joann was among the first students when the Society for Handicapped Citizens formed in 1953. She started schooling with them and then moved into the Medina County Achievement Center in 1992. After she finished her education, she moved over to the workshop department and retired after 49 years of hard work and learning.

Along with her parents, Joann was preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Mae Andrews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by niece, Danni (Darrell) Blake; nephews, David (Lara) Lemon and Donald Lemon (Dorothy Baisden); great-nieces, Elizabeth (Andrew) Crampton and Tina Hummel (Drew); nephew, Cody Jones; cousins, Rose Lewis and James Buxton; and a whole slew of great-nieces and -nephews, and many friends.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, June 15th, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, OH 44281. A graveside service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
