Denzil G. Hathaway, 79, of Wadsworth passed away Tuesday September 9, 2014. He was born August 24, 1935 in Grantsville, WV to the late Roscoe and Edna Hathaway.
Mr. Hathaway was a veteran of the U.S. Army was retired from Allside Aluminum and was a member of First Baptist Church in Barberton.
Denzil was preceded in death by his wife Frances on February 24, 2005.
He is survived by his children: Timothy (Vicki) of NC and Karla (Brian) Mackey of Barberton; grandchildren Courtney, Chelsea, Colby, Amanda and Ryan.
He is also survived by his brother Bob (Shirley) Hathaway of Wadsworth and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Saturday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 12-1PM.
Interment with military honors will be held 9:30AM Tuesday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
