William E. Dorner, 91, of Wadsworth passed away April 30, 2018. He was born April 21, 1927 to the late William R. and Hazel I. Dorner.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and was an avid sports fan. He retired from Parker Hannifin after 38 dedicated years of service.

He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Dorner and grandson Nicholas Dorner.

He is survived by his wife Frances Dorner; children William C. (Ginny) Dorner, Jane (Jack) Conover, Daniel (Becky) Dorner; grandchildren Brian Conover, Jason Conover, Ben Dorner, Tom Dorner, Suzie Dorner, and Aaron Dorner; and 4 great-grandchildren Madelaine Conover, Abigail Conover, Katrina Conover, and Eliana Dorner.

Family will receive friends Friday, May 4th from 1-2pm at the Chapel at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2580 Romig Road, Akron, Ohio 44320, where a service will be held at 2pm.

The family would like to thank Summa Hospice, and Nurse Phil and Aide Nancy, as well as give a special thanks to caregivers Margie and Betty, and niece Eleanor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 N High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
