Mary Louise Doutrich, 80, of Wadsworth passed away April 7, 2013 following a courageous 3 year battle with ALS. She was born June 6, 1932, in Mogadore, OH to the late George and Grace Scheck. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ (UCC), VFW Women’s Auxiliary, a life member of the American Legion, Sharon Women’s Club, Retired Enlisted Association Auxiliary, and was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel. She worked numerous jobs: military spouse, stay at home mom, waitress, and the first female tow motor operator for Hobart. Mary loved adventure and traveling. She was present for all the highlights of her family’s lives. She was preceded in death by three brothers Mel, Jim, and Stan Scheck. Mary is survived by her loving husband Leon, with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage, their children: Debera (Bruce) Lorincz, Vickie Williams, Terry (Jeff Wolf) Ewing, Samuel (Michelle) Doutrich III, and Lynlee (Frank) Fertal, eight beloved grandchildren: Maureen, Lauren, Jay, Tim, Drew, Audra, Kaeli, and Shelby, and 4 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Trinity UCC, 215 High St., Wadsworth, OH, with the Rev. Daniel Doty and Rev. Lauren Lorincz officiating.
