Mary Kathleen Dressler (nee Doyle) of Wadsworth, 86, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at the Hospice on Ridgewood Rd., Copley.

Mary was one of the first born babies at the then “new” Wadsworth Hospital, September 22, 1924. She graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1942 and immediately went to work at Seiberling Tire and Rubber Co. as a secretary for Lucius Seiberling. In June 1946, she married Wilson “Buck” Dressler and celebrated 61 years of marriage.

She lived her entire life in Wadsworth. She was an animal lover and spent much time feeding and watching birds. She was a kind and gentle lady-much loved by her survivors; sister, Anna (Doyle) Riedel; brother Leo “Bud” (Helen) Doyle ; nieces and nephews, Diane (Randy) Hall, Denise (Paul) Taylor, David (Jo) Doyle, Lee Ann (Craig) Bailey, and Dr. Charles (Meredith) Riedel.

We also wish to thank her caregivers, Mary, Barbara and Becca for their tender loving care. She was predeceased by husband, Wilson “Buck” Dressler; mother and father, Eva and Leo Doyle.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 29, 2011, 11:00a.m. at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Cammarn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10a.m. to 11a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church at 146 High St., Wadsworth; Medina Co. SPCA at 245 S. Medina St., Medina, or Hospice of VNS Care Center at 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron.
