Maxine Erbse, 70, of Doylestown passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Born May 26, 1939 in Grantsville, MD to the late Ernest and Etta Beitzel.
She was a member of Crossroads Community Church, taught Bible School for many years at the Akron Baptist Temple, and was the former Den Leader of Cub Scouts Pack #402. Maxine worked in several Wadsworth area retail establishments.
She was an inspiration to everyone she met and worked with and was known by her e-mail address scripturesangel@aol.com.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother Minta, four brothers, and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons Brandon of Tallmadge and Marty (Kelly) of Wadsworth, five grandchildren, and one sister Kathleen Beitzel, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12-2 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday with Pastor Bill Reeves officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
