Helen Joyce Fannin, R.N., age 89 of Rittman, Ohio passed away Saturday August 13, 2016. She was born April 4, 1927 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Myrl Jenkins.

Mrs. Fannin was graduated from the Portsmouth General Hospital School of Nursing on June 6, 1948 and served as an R.N. in Portsmouth, Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio.

Helen is survived by her husband Tennyson Fannin, retired superintendent from Portsmouth City Schools. A daughter, Lisa (Craig) Hubler of Kansas City; Drs. Stephen (Lisa Marie Deranek) Fannin of Wadsworth, Ohio; and five grandchildren- James Hubler, Helen Hubler Stringer both of Kansas City, MO, Luke, Stephanie and Rachel Fannin all of Wadsworth, OH and five great grandsons: Wesley, Austin, and Samuel Hubler, and Nash and Makel Stringer all of Kansas City, MO.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth.

Private inurnment will be at a later date in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
