Regina E. Farmer, 88, of Wadsworth passed away Saturday October 17, 2009. Born May 23, 1921 in Knifley, KY to the late Johnnie ad Fannie Mings. Mrs. Farmer was a charter member of Northside Christian Church and was retired from the Ohio Match Co.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Dorner and three brothers Ray, Morris and RD Mings. Mrs. Farmer is survived by her husband William “Bill” Farmer, two grandson that were her pride and joy; Chad Dorner of Wadsworth and Ryan Dorner of Perry Twp., there is her son in law Bob (Mary Beth) Dorner and their daughter Amanda all of Massillon, sisters Betty Vaughn of Wadsworth and Nina (Junior) Chelf of Louisville, KY; brother Jodie (Opal) Mings of Campbellsville, KY, sisters in law Pauline (Dean) Brenneman of Rittman, Mary Hardin and Tudy Mings both of Campbellsville, KY.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday with Pastor Robin L. Hart officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
