Barry Anthony Fernholz passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017. Barry was born in Minnesota on March 19, 1965 and moved to Wadsworth in 6^th grade. He attended Wadsworth High and was an outstanding Grizzly basketball player. He went to Kent State University and married the love of his life, high school sweetheart, and next door neighbor, Amy (Vorndran) and. He went on to work at Sterling Jewelers for more than 20 years and excelled to the title of Divisional Vice President. He currently worked for FedEx Office. He is remembered as a loving, caring father and friend who always filled the room with laughter with his stories. He was a proud father of: Clay 25, Nicole 23, Barry 21, and Joey 17, loving and supportive parents June and Donald Fernholz, brother Curt Fernholz, Michelle (Levering), nephews, Jacob, Dakota, Nathan, Tyler and nieces Katie, Morgan, Briana. Preceded in death by loving sister Tina Fernholz Zidan. The family will receive friends 10-12 & 2-5 Saturday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 5pm.
