Gayle Fiegel, age 74, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on May 31st, 2016 at Altercare Nursing Home, Wadsworth, Ohio.  Gayle was born on May 22nd, 1942 in Blue Island, Illinois to John and Dorothy Fiegel.

Gayle was known for her blunt and witty sense of humor, colorful language and her love of bakery items. Our hope is that she was greeted in heaven by her beloved mother and that she is eating donuts and having pierogis with her dear friend Millie Krause.

Gayle was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Fiegel, and her brother-in-law, Steve Peloquin. She is survived by her daughter, Stacey (Peloquin) DeYoung, her son-in-law, Ronald DeYoung, grandchildren Hayden, Remy, and Piper DeYoung, her sister, Linda Melzer, her grand dog, Buddy and many beloved friends and family.

Per Gayle’s wishes, a private gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, Gayle would want you to partake in bakery item of your choice. She would have suggested a warm Krispy Kreme donut or a croissant from Buehler’s.
