Michael Wayne Flippo, 60, of Wadsworth passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. He was born December 25, 1956 in Medina to Carl and Betty Flippo.
He was a graduate of Wadsworth High School class of 1976, was the owner of 5 Star General Painting and was a member of Wadsworth American Legion Post #170 and Wadsworth Eagles Aerie #2117. Mike was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, loved coaching softball and was an avid auction attendee, buyer and seller.
He was preceded in death by his father Carl.
Mike is survived by his wife Sharon with whom he celebrated 5 1/2  years of marriage, children: Annie (Mike Woodard) Campbell , Joseph Likosar and grandchildren Baylee and Ella.
He is also survived by his mother Betty Flippo of Wadsworth, siblings: John (Sue) Flippo of Kent, Carol Flippo-Miller of Wadsworth, Jerry Flippo of Wadsworth, Jane (Bill) White of Wadsworth, Tom Flippo of Houston, TX, Steve (Katy) Flippo of Wadsworth along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8pm Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth and Saturday 10-11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High St. Wadsworth where funeral services will follow at 11am with Pastor Barbara Bartholomew officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
