Diane DeMali-Francis, 78 of Wadsworth was called Home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to the late Rudolph and Jennie (Solero) DeMali.

Diane majored in English at Akron University. After college, she fulfulled her dream of moving to NYC and accepted a job with American Broadcasting Co. She later returned to Akron, where she met her husband, Dave and together they ran a successful advertising company.

Diane enjoyed antiquing, traveling, reading, collecting Amusement Park memorabilia and Akron, Ohio memorabilia. Diane loved animals and was one of the founding members for SOS (SaveOhioStrays), an animal rescue group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Francis, brother Alan DeMali, and longtime friends, Ginger Toth and John Bonfiglio.

She will be missed by Dick Toth, Judy Blueter, Pam DeMali(sister-in-law), Georgia Francis Steward(daughter), Lauren Alberto(granddaughter), Jenna DeMali-Griffin and Jackie Toth Eby(nieces), Mike Allison(cousin), and her four-legged companion Jazzy.

A Celebration of Life for Diane will be held at 2pm on June 14th at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth Ohio.
