Gizella A. Armstrong, 87, of Wadsworth passed away on October 4, 2017. She was born November 28, 1929 to the late Kalman Papp and Susanna Papp-Taylor (Barnary).

She lived all her life in Wadsworth. She enjoyed going to the fair, yard sales, and for long rides. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband James L. Armstrong, Sr.; daughter Anne (Thomas) McCrork; and sisters Leona Overholt, Katherine Smith, Helen Smucker, and Margaret Zook.

She leaves behind son James (Jeannie) Armstrong; granddaughters Lisa (Gary) Hummel and Stacey (Mike) Beam; great-grandchildren Michelle and Beth Hummel, Aiden, Allicia, and Elijah Beam; a faithful friend, Marilyn Kapolka; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a warm thank you to Altercare of Wadsworth and especially to those that gave extra loving care.

Family will receive friends Thursday Oct. 12, 2017 from 4:00-5:30pm at Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth Ohio. A Memorial service will be conducted at 5:30pm with Pastor William Dawson officiating. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn.
