Donnie W. Goodson

Wadsworth — Donnie W. Goodson, 75 of Wadsworth, passed away on July 11, 2022. He was born October 15, 1946 in Akron, OH to the late Charles and Dona Goodson.

Mr. Goodson is a U.S. Marine serving during Vietnam, and was stationed at the Panama Canal. He retired from Reiter Dairy after 30 years of service, and then worked at Loyal Oak Golf Course. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing, and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns.

Preceded in death by brothers, Darrell and Glenn and sister-in-law Juanita Finding. Donnie is survived by his wife, Ruthann, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage; sons, Robert and Michael; two granddaughters that were the apple of his eye, Brooke and Sydney; cousins, Ernie Cox and Hilda Fae Parker; and brother -in-law Richard Finding.

Private services have been held for the family.
