“Barbara (Baer) Grauer, 83, died May 18, 2015, born February 29, 1932, in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late D.C. and Helen Baer.

Barbara graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in home economics. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, was instrumental in the new church kitchen design, and served with Helping Hands. Barbara demonstrated creativity in numerous arts and crafts projects. She was a skilled seamstress and a baker of outstanding pies. In her leisure time, Barbara enjoyed traveling, especially to the ocean, spending time with dear friends and family, and showing all that she was passionate Buckeye fan.

Preceded in death by her brother Ted and her husband of 59 years, John, she is survived by daughter Susan E. Grauer, M.D.; son J. David Grauer, M.D. (Kathy); granddaughters Kacey and Taylor; nephews Robert Marggraf and John Marggraf, and niece Jane Lombardo.
