Naomi Griffith, age 80, of Rittman passed away on November 28, 2018. She was born in Prestonsburg, KY on January 26, 1938 to Pastor Walter and Gladys (Parker) Daniels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne R. Griffith; 3 sisters: EmmaJean, Kathleen and Garnett; and half-brothers Claude Author and James. Naomi enjoyed being with her family, cooking, baking her cakes and she loved to sing. She sang with the Spiritual Travelers Quartet. She retired from the Apostolic Christian Home after 34 years of service. She loved people as they loved her and she had a strong passion for helping people. She is survived by daughters Regina (Dan) Fletcher of Treasure Island, FL; Wedonna (George) Olson of Painesville, OH; and Vanessa Griffith of Rittman, OH. Her son Darrel (Jean) Griffith of Apple Creek, OH; brother, Paul Daniels, of Rittman, OH; half-brother Kenneth Ray; half-sisters WillaDean and Linda. Six grandchildren Jerami, Mandy, Angel, Lisa, Ryan and Rachelle; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 4, from 4 to 7 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St, Wadsworth. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 5 at 11:00 AM at South Main Street Church of God, 261 S. Main St, Rittman. Interment will be at Rittman Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses and everyone who took care of Naomi at Brenn-Field Life Care Hospice. They went above and beyond to show their care and love for her. Remember Nay Nay loves you all!
