Mary E. Grimm, 87, formerly of Sharon Center more recently of Wadsworth, passed away Sunday July 24, 2011. She was born on October 31, 1923 in Sharon Center to the late Leroy and Mary Swain.
Mrs. Grimm was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she was very active, was retired from the Highland Schools in 1982 after serving 14 years as a bus driver and enjoyed playing cards.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth J. Grimm, son Gary A. Grimm and sister Dolores Bailey.
She is survived by her son Terry L. Grimm of Leesburg, FL, daughter in law Dana Grimm of Akron, four grandchildren; Kim Wagner, Jacob Grimm, Hartley Grimm, Katie Grimm and 7 great grandchildren. There are three nieces one nephew and her brother in law Dan Bailey also surviving.
The family will receive friends 5:30 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery with Deaconess Marla Woods officiating.
