Russell L. Haller, 87, of Wadsworth passed away Friday, July 31, 2015. He was born November 29, 1927 in Rittman, OH to the late George and Florence (Fritzinger) Haller. Mr. Haller was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, was a Charter member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Carl Anthony Council #3213, was a graduate of Rittman High School Class of 1945, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a radio operator form 1950-1952. He was retired from the Packaging Corporation of America after 45 years as an electrician and was a volunteer at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital Auxillary.

Russell was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Maribeth (Dispenza) on August 28, 2004, daughter Michelle on April 7, 2008, grandson Martin, his siblings Kenneth Haller, Glenn Haller, Evelyn von Guten.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Renee and Bill Schondel, son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Mary Ann Haller and son-in-law Barry Alvord and 6 grandchildren Beth, Philip, Mary Grace, John, Stephen and Maria.

The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8pm Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St., Wadsworth with Fr. Joseph L.Labak, Celebrant. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Garden.
